Welcome to Safetrade (“App”, “Platform”, “We”, “Our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our application and services by retailers (“You”, “Your”) for verifying and authenticating customers’ KYC details.
By using our App, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
- Safetrade is a technology platform that enables retailers to verify and authenticate customer details such as mobile number and Aadhaar information, using secure APIs and consent-based mechanisms.
- The App generates verification receipts for the retailer, containing the details captured during the KYC process.
- The App does not sell products, act as an agent, or participate in any financial transaction between the retailer and their customer. We are not a party to any transaction between retailer and customer.
- Retailers using this App are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with Aadhaar Act, 2016, UIDAI guidelines, KYC regulations, and all applicable laws.
- Retailers must obtain explicit consent from customers before initiating verification or capturing any personal data.
- Misuse of the platform for illegal activities, identity theft, or fraud is strictly prohibited and will lead to suspension of access and possible legal action.
- The App processes personal data strictly for the purpose of verification and authentication as consented by the customer.
- We follow reasonable security practices under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and relevant rules.
- Data will not be shared with any third party except:
- As mandated by law or government authority
- For providing verification service through authorized APIs
- We do not store Aadhaar numbers in plain text; all sensitive data is encrypted in compliance with UIDAI norms.
- Use of the App involves service fees for each verification.
- Fees once paid are non-refundable except as required under law or due to a technical error on our part.
- The App provides KYC verification on a best-effort basis.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party databases used for verification (e.g., UIDAI, telecom operators).
- We are not liable for any losses, disputes, fraud, or contractual issues between the retailer and their customers.
- Our maximum liability, under any circumstances, is limited to the fees paid for the service in question.
You agree not to:
- Submit forged, false, or tampered documents.
- Use the App for unlawful purposes, data scraping, or resale of services.
- Store or misuse customer Aadhaar details beyond the scope of legal compliance.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate retailer accounts for violation of these Terms or misuse of services without prior notice.
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts in Gurgaon,Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
